There have always been secrets, rumors, and conspiracy theories connected to the royal families. And the British royal family is no exception. We’ve prepared several interesting and surprising conspiracy theories for you. Some of them sound unreal, others are more likely to be close to the truth. But it is true that thousands of people believe in them.

And the fact that this video got over 70,000 views during 24 hours confirm that this scandalous topic is popular.

With all the rumors running around the royal family, especially in the after bout of the royal wedding, conspiracy theorists are making accusations that the royal family is hiding something.

With the long history dating back to 1066, the British Monarchy has held the prominent role in global society. This is, likely, the reason why so many are concerned that the royal family may be concealing potentially embarrassing information.

The mysterious history of British governments can inspire conspiracy theories – some realistic and other rather bizarre. To be clear, we don’t believe these theories but it’s still fun to think about the possibility.

Apparently, there’ve been numerous occasions where royal mothers have manipulated their children’s romances. Queen Elizabeth II’s mother and grandmother may have attempted to prevent her from marrying Philip because he was from an exiled royal family. Philip is descendant from a Greek and Danish royal families. The former governed from exiled during the II World War, after Hitler’s army invaded Greece in 1941. This was around the time that Philip began corresponding with Elizabeth. So, it is understandable why one might believe Queen Elizabeth’s family searched to preserve that royal bloodline.

Although, the royal family in under no obligation to insure a heirly royal lineage, there were some curious coincidences connected to Prince William’s marrying Kate Middleton. In fact, some might argue that Kate Middleton’s parents’ position led her to marry William. They were encouraging her to go to the University of St Andrews where Prince William was enrolled. Allegedly, Kate had a poster of her future husband in her room as a child and decided to go to St Andrews instead of Edinburgh. Many consider that either her or her parents encouraged her to attend St Andrews to put herself in a position to some day become the queen. It’s tough to deny that they are great for each other and have a lot in common.

Some theorists also believe that Prince Charles received fierce opposition when he initially wanted to marry Camilla, after they met in 1971. They argue that Queen Elizabeth intervened, pushing Charles toward the granddaughters of her close friend Lady Ruth Fermoy. The queen’s intervention led to Charles’ dating Lady Sarah Spencer in 1977. And then, her sister Lady Diana Spencer in 1980. Charles and Diana married the following year.

With Independence Day a little over a month away, let’s point out that Greg Pollowitz from the conservative website Twitchy inserted that Harry married Meghan Markle as part of a broader plan to reclaim the United States. If and when Harry and Meghan have kids, they’ll maintain dual British-US citizenship. This means that they can become both President of the United States and be in mind of succession for the crown, if Meghan travels home to give the birth.

The British missed the real opportunity by losing the United States to George Washington and then Andrew Jackson. So, perhaps, it’s possible that they’ll try to come back.

According to BBC sports caster and conspiracy theorists David Icke, the British monarchs are descendants from a long line of alien lizards who control the chairmen of government in many countries around the world. David Icke has become rather infamous for his claim that several world leaders descend from a race of alien lizards. So, it’s not too shocking that he makes similar remarks about the British royal family, including Queen Elizabeth. Well, David Icke claims to have eyewitness accounts of this claim. Few outside of his fan base are convinced.

Some even say that Prince Charles is a vampire, that he is a descendant of the infamous 15th-century Transylvanian leader Vlad the Impaler, who inspired Dracula, based on his brutal methods for instilling fear in his opponents. Charles joked, “Transylvania is in by blood. The genealogy shows I’m descendant from Vlad the Impaler, so I do have a bit of stick in the country”.

Some conspiracy theorists argue that Charles and Diana have a secret daughter. Diana confirmed that before marrying Charles she was examined by OB/GYN to see if she can have kids. The theory suggests that, apparently, the doctor makes Charles and Diana’s reproductive cells and used them in his own way. The doctor’s wife, allegedly, became pregnant with Charles and Diana’s baby, naming her Sarah. The royal family eventually got out of the scandal and suppressed it, reportedly, taking every action to ensure that nobody can prove that Sarah is in fact Charles and Diana’s daughter. Some theory, right?

The royal wedding prep renewed attention to the house of Windsor, which is, likely, why conspiracy theories are beginning to resurface about the royal family. Could they be hiding something? Are there any conspiracy theories about the royal family that you believe?
