The costumes in popular Hollywood movies can be pretty cool, sexy, and striking but it doesn’t always mean that they are comfy. Here you are 5 famous actors and actresses who had to fit into their classy-looking suits and suffer real bad. Five worst costumes ever, from the wearer’s POV.

Playing a superhero in a big Hollywood movie definitely seems like a dream come true. You get to kick butts in all kinds of creative ways and see yourself save the world on the big screen. Not to mention the pay is apparently pretty decent. Despite all the upsides though, there are some downsides to suiting up as a superhero. Although the costumes look incredible, they're not always comfortable. Let's take a look at some Marvel actors who weren’t super fond of their outfits.

Chadwick Boseman

It seems like we just met Black Panther in the MCU but he's already appeared in three movies, including his own solo film and Avengers: Infinity War. Boseman makes Black Panther’s fancy acrobatics and fight moves seem effortless. But, according to the actor, the costume does not make his job easy. For Captain America Civil War, the actor said, he had to wear the cat suit in 90-degree weather which is basically like wearing a leather onesie to the beach. He also mentioned that the costume would cut off his breathing during certain stunts. So yeah, it looks cool but it doesn't feel cool.

Elizabeth Olsen

Elizabeth Olsen has been playing Scarlet Witch in the MCU since 2015 and we're learning more and more that she's one of the most powerful characters we've ever met. The actress expressed that she thinks her character's costume is definitely less than super. Olsen thinks it's kind of ridiculous that she's now the only Marvel hero that has visible cleavage, which is kind of limiting during action sequences. She's hoping that in upcoming Marvel movies, they'll get rid of the corset and give her something a little less revealing. Hey, at least they didn't dress her up like Scarlet Witch in the comics.

Olivia Munn

Jumping over to the X-men side of Marvel. Olivia Munn played Psylocke in X-men: Apocalypse in 2016, which, unfortunately, most people agree was far from being the best film we've seen in the franchise. Fans were pumped to see Olivia Munn take on the role of Psylocke though. The actress had been circling the comic-book movie scene for years. But Munn admitted that the costume was kind of a headache. She said it was super uncomfortable and that it tore in some pretty awkward places. She ended up having to cover herself in lubricant to prevent it from happening again.

Ryan Reynolds

It seems like Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool and he certainly seems to have fun doing it. But before he slipped into the red spandex for Marvel, he had some pretty big issues with another superhero costume of his in a little DC movie called “Green Lantern” in 2011. Not only did the movie flop super hard, the filmmakers made the awful decision of making his superhero suit completely animated. Reynolds has been super public about his feelings regarding the outfit and the entire Green Lantern movie as a whole. Luckily for him, he now stars in a superhero franchise that lets them make fun of it on the big screen.

Robert Downey Jr.

Let's hop back over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and talk about the MCU og Robert Downey Jr. This guy's been suiting up as Iron Man for a decade now and made millions and millions of dollars doing it. But, apparently, the actor hasn't actually suited up in a full Iron Man costume in years. Marvel now opts to make the Iron Man suit pretty much entirely in CGI. Back in 2008 though, our DJ had to wear a practical suit that was so heavy, he said, it almost gave him a personality meltdown. Not only that, but he said the thing can make anyone feel claustrophobic.
